I did, or tried to do, some clean up today to finish the change over to WordPress 1.5. I messed myself up several times and I am still not completely sure it is readable by anything other than Safari and Firefox. It should be, but then…
I have to say though, I do have some good news so I really can’t complain. My FM3 came through yesterday which will allow me to spend more time in Mexico and do simple things like setting up a bank account. It might seem minor, but it is something I have been trying to get done for some time.
Tuesday morning, bright and early I head back to Morelia and work—and it is a great feeling. —>

My current trip to Morelia and Mexico is just about at an end. I will return to California on Sunday for two or three weeks before I head back again for another period.
I haven’t gotten anything done yet to put up more fotos because frankly – there are too many things to configure and put in place in the time I have right now. Hopefully, when I return I can spend some time in the evenings or early mornings getting things in place. WordPress is a good system, but like most open source projects, there are a lot of choices and not a lot of information about which are best. It is going to take some research and experiment to get to something I am happy with I’m sure.
In a lot of ways, it feels very weird to go back to the US after so many months in Mexico. I really can’t say I am particularly eager to return – but I am not sad about returning either. Because I have a home in Mexico, work I enjoy, a place to work I feel comfortable in, and a team of people I enjoy working with – it is sort of an odd sensation to be going “home” and not feel the usual anticipation I have in the past. Whatever… things seem to work themselves out so I will just continue to go with the flow.
